GENESIS CONFLICT
Today, the majority of scientists consider evolution a fact, although there is debate about its pace and mechanisms. Even within the religious sphere, the old tensions between science and faith have diminished. Global education promotes evolution as the main explanation for the origin of life, but there are still scientists who defend a literal creation, and many believe in a literal interpretation of Genesis.
